Global Forum on Remittances, Investment and Development (GFRID) – Summit 2021

On 16 and 17 June, IFAD will host the virtual Global Forum on Remittances, Investment and Development (GFRID) – Summit 2021. The two-day forum will focus on the impact remittances can have on the sustainable development of migrants’ communities of origin, particularly in light of the COVID-19 crisis, and on digitization as a lever to promote financial inclusion for remittance families.

Over 500 high-level participants from governments, central banks, the private sector, multilateral organizations and civil society are expected to attend.
