This collection of sustainable land management (SLM) technologies and approaches was compiled as part of the Scaling-up SLM practices by smallholder farmers project funded by IFAD.

Sustainable land management technologies are included from:

• Water harvesting and water management
• Prevention of soil erosion
• Improvement of soil fertility (compost, mulching)
• Livestock management
• Agroforestry and Intercropping
