IFAD Asset Request Portlet
Karima Cherif is the Knowledge Management (KM) Officer for the Platform for Agricultural Risk Management (PARM). She is responsible for facilitating the dissemination of results and learning from PARM's operations. In particular she leads the implementation of PARM KM and communication strategy; contributes to the enhancement of partnerships and raising visibility and awareness on agricultural risk management through the organization of global events.
Before joining PARM in 2014, Cherif worked as KM and communication consultant for IFAD-funded project in East and Southern Africa from 2011. In 2013 she relocated to support the IFAD Country Office in Zambia. Prior to IFAD, she has served as Communication and Special Event Coordinator for a UN-NGO and worked in the private sector as Event and Celebrities Promotion Manager. She took on internships with the Economic and Social Council of France and the UN Secretariat, UN-DESA in New York.
Cherif holds an MA degree in Communications and Social Marketing from the University La Sapienza of Rome.
